As I was watching an YouYube video on "coming to grips with uncertainty" there was a question who or what is beating our hearts? I began to stop and think about this question did i know the answer to it? Of what I have known since i was a little girl was that our heart was a muscle and that the heart would send out blood to all over the body. But was i correct is this what makes our heart beat?
I decided to do some research and was surprised to find out that some answers were Jesus and biochemistry we really do not know what it is. Many say that it is electricty that makes our heart beat because of the small electrical current generated by the the cardiac conduction system. Do we really know what makes our heart beat?? Just some information i found very interesting about the heart you never really think how many times it beats.According to the American Heart Association the heart beats an average of 100,000 times a day anywhere from 60 to 100 beats a minute.
